What your assistant can do for your business

What it can do

Pick the job. Each page shows what you can ask for and what it won't do.

• Your website: Change the words on any page of your site and see the before and after.
• How your site looks: See your whole site setup, change your colors with a preview, place your photos, and arrange your homepage.
• Photos and video: Get photos from your phone into your library and onto the right page.
• Your blog: Write posts from a short brief. Nothing goes live until you say so.
• Email and text campaigns: Email or text customers who've said yes to hearing from you. Nothing sends without your OK.
• Ask us: Anything the tools can't do, you send to us.
• Setup and results: See what's left to set up and how your marketing is doing. Where a number has a catch, we say so.

What it won't do

• It never deletes your site or any page on it.
• It never touches money. That means no charges, refunds, or payouts.
• It never changes your business name, address, or phone number. Those come to us as a request, so they keep matching your Google listing.
• It never sends a campaign to your customers until you say yes.
• We build your site, publish it, and hand it over to you.
• You confirm your business details and approve your preview in your workspace, not through your assistant.
• To download a full copy of your site, go to Settings in your workspace.
• We reply to your Google reviews. Your assistant can send us a request about any review.
• It can't post to Facebook or Instagram yet.
• We write the case studies about your results.
• We set your logo, services, menu, buttons, trust points and business facts. Ask us and we'll change them.

How to connect

Your connection card is in your workspace, under Settings. It takes a few minutes.

1. Open your workspace and go to Settings.
2. In your assistant's settings, add a custom connector with this address.https://www.theservicemarketingguys.com/api/client-mcpThe connector address. Use this one only.
3. When it asks for a code, tap Create my connection and copy it. It shows once.
4. Paste the code where it asks, then save.
5. Ask your assistant: "What's left to finish setting up my account?" If it answers with your setup steps, you're connected.

When it asks you first

Your assistant can look things up on its own, since looking doesn't change anything. Before it changes anything, it asks you to confirm.

A few changes ask every time: sending a campaign, publishing, and editing something that's already live. We save a record of each one before it runs.

How to disconnect

Settings in your workspace lists every assistant you've connected. Remove one there and that connection stops working. You can connect again any time with a new code.

Limits

These are here to stop an assistant that's stuck in a loop. You shouldn't ever hit them.

• Up to 120 requests a minute from your assistant.
• If one tool gets refused 5 times in a minute, it waits a minute before it tries again.
• Up to 10 blog drafts a day from a brief.
• A campaign sends only to the number of people you saw in its preview. If that number changes, it asks again.

• Us, for your marketing, your site, your account, or a tool that said no. Call or text 1-866-770-4107, or ask your assistant to send us a request.
• The company that makes your assistant, for its app, its settings, or your plan with them.

Security

Connect only the address above. It starts with https://www.theservicemarketingguys.com.

Your assistant reads web pages, emails, and files. Some of those can hide instructions meant to trick it into doing something you didn't ask for. The connector doesn't take orders from them. Changes still ask you first, sends and publishes still need your yes, and it only ever reaches your own business.
